The Central Zone, which includes the regions of Dodoma, Singida, Iringa, Tabora, and Katavi, was where the National Strategy for NGOs Sustainability was being created. TMA went to the conference, which was held in Four Points. The meeting was held in Dodoma on May 20, 2022, with Dr. Zainab Chaula as the honorary guest (WAMJW). At the meeting were Dr. Paul Nandrie, the TMA’s Chief Executive Officer, Ms. Jaqueline Mmari, Human Resources, and Ms. Catherine Kapilima, its Public Relations, and Resource Mobilization.

Strengthening CSOs for “SUSTAINABILITY” was the main goal of this meeting. Last year, the Annual General Meeting of CSOs Tanzania was hosted by NACONGO, and HE. Samia Hassan, President of the United Republic of Tanzania, spoke as a guest speaker. She urged CSOs to implement sustainable projects and gather local resources from the private sector and individuals in her speech, challenging them to look beyond donors and grants. The purpose of the strategic meeting was to gather data and pose pertinent questions to comprehend what CSOs must do to become sustainable. TMA inspired many people by disseminating information about developing sustainable projects like TMA Associates LTD, TMA SACCOS, and TMA MICROFINANCE.

To achieve the main goal of “SUSTAINABILITY,” several organizations came to TMA with the desire to learn from and follow its lead. Most of the CSOs in the Dodoma region were looking forward to visiting TMA offices to exchange experiences.
