CSSC Hospitals in Tanzania

In 2016, TMA was awarded a project to support Christian Social Service Commission (CSSC) to build the capacity of Hospital Management teams of 64 Hospitals to development of Comprehensive Hospital Operations Plans (CHOP) and orientation of OPRAS. TMA provided mentoring support on how to develop a hospital plan that addresses the health needs of the communities including health and sanitation. Major achievements made in this project were development of CHOPs that were addressing the needs of the community, community involvement in the planning process including women and youth. A total of 256 Hospital leaders where by 102 were female (47%) and 154 males (53%) were capacitated on the approach to develop quality plans that brings desired results.
