
On March 8, 2022, International Women’s Day was observed by TMA. During the function, the regional administrative secretary for Dodoma was the guest of honor. TMA was given the opportunity to speak. Madam Anna, Head of Programs and Operations for TMA and its Affiliated Companies, did a fantastic job with her presentation. She also highlighted the opportunities TMA offers young people and women in the workplace. She inspired many of the female participants in the “Usiku wa Mwanamke” program. Later, Ms. Catherine Kapilima, Internal Auditor Happy Mkenda, and Speedy Finances Mentor Rhoda Kasonka attended a public lecture in honor of International Women’s Day where they had 10 minutes to introduce TMA to the attendees. TMA received recognition for its achievements during the Women’s Day
Women’s contributions are valued at TMA, and we mainly tap into their multitasking and leadership potential. As part of TMA’s efforts to create a world in which everyone is treated equally, gender and youth are streamlined in all our theme areas. The topic of IWD 2022 this year is “Break the Bias.” Consider a world where men and women are equally prevalent. a society devoid of prejudice, stereotyping, and discrimination. a multicultural, just, and inclusive world. a society that values and embraces diversity. We can advance women’s equality together. We can all work together to #BreakTheBias. Every single day of the year, each of us oversees our own thoughts and deeds. We can eliminate prejudice from our communities. We can eliminate prejudice from our workplaces in our schools, colleges, and universities, We can break the bias in our communities – on International Women’s Day (IWD) and beyond.
