
The CSO Week is where Tanzania’s civil society organizations come together in the highest number. The occasion provides a chance to interact with actors from many sectors in order to strengthen existing ties and advance the national development goal. An exhibition of both local and international CSOs was held for two days prior to the conference, Tanzanian Musicians performers performed before Speaker of the National Assembly Job Ndugai gave the CSO Week its official opening.
In-depth talks about their work, experience sharing, and an examination of how CSOs can strategically cooperate with people, the government, donors, and the commercial sector are the goals of the event, which aims to bring together important representatives of the Civil Society and its stakeholders. Several local CSO leaders, including the Foundation of Civil Societies, came up with the idea for CSO week (FCS). Tanzania Mentors Action was one of the Organizations that participated in 2021 T CSO Week. Which theme focused on the role CSOs play in bridging the development divide between the government and communities. The theme of the week was The Contribution of CSOs to National Development.
